As many of you know, I'm a bit of a camera gear nut! I've used the Rolleiflex 6008AF and Hy6 for the main bulk of my photowork, and all of my awards have been won shooting the Rolleiflex system. But I can't really stop myself from testing many of the other cameras. I shoot 35mm format all the way to 11x14 sheet film. When I was in Photokina 2018 (RIP photokina!) I tested all the viewfinders in modern cameras and the 645Z really caught my attention. I do like the OVF on this camera a lot. I think the AF on this is about the same speed as the Hy6, but it has a number of points so probably a bit more advanced. The lenses in the Pentax 645 system are not the equal of the Rollei system but very good, are but only a fraction of the price so an excellent value. The big advantage of the 645Z besides low cost is that it can shoot a good ISO 6400 file and lenses are incredibly good value - a zoom for only a few hundred? I had also the Hasselblad X1D and I believe the Pentax is much easier to use and has the same sensor as the X1D. What other 50 megapixel medium format system can you buy with 3 lenses for $3500? Everything is in excellent working condition. The body has some wear marks and a few dings, cosemetic only. Same for the lenses. Glass excellent, except I want to call out a small cleaning mark on the 35mm off center. It never affected any images I took so I don't think it's a problem, but it's there. Shades included for 45-85, not for 35. Comes with 2 batteries, charger, but no boxes.
Kit includes the following items - all used but in great condition.
645Z Camera body with charger, 2 batteries, body cap, eyepiece
35mm Wide angle lens with caps and UV filter (small cleaning mark on front)
Note - only 35mm lens is included - other lenses shown are not included.
