Cat. No 58048-TD-used-2023

This frame attaches to the Hy6, AFi, and Hy6 Mod 2 camera bodies only.  Will not fit 6000 series cameras

These Lupe mount frame bases for the Hy6 were extremely rare - Hans at the factory told me they only made 20 pieces and only for me since I asked them.  Production of them ended in 2014 and I seriously don't expect to see another used one ever again, and I'm not selling my own.

I find the Lupe magnifier the best view of the focus screen and it has a continuously variable diopter adjustment.   These sold new for a very high price because the production volume was small.   This one comes with the Superb Schneider 3x lupe magnifier which can be detached and used to view negatives on a lightbox as it covers 6x6.  The lupe itself is worth over $300.

Used but in very good condition - the lupe base has a few marks from use but the glass is excellent.   For those of you with a rotating Sinar digital back, this unit has the cutout for the rotating frame.

I have found that the Dioptrx fits perfectly on this and using that I can correct for both the near/far and also astigmatism in my eyesight and thus make the perfect glasses-free view finder for my camera.  If you work with photography where accurate manual focusing is critical then this viewfinder is a must!

User Comments:  I think this is the finder that gives me the most accurate focus and nicest view.  It's a little bit like using the WLF but with higher magnification and the view is better shielded from light.  I have lupe, but bases for my 6008AF, Hy6, and the sliding back on the X-Act2.  The price is pretty steep for this part, and I know I grumbled a bit when I purchased it, but I'm happy I bought it in the end because this magnifying or chimney-style finder has such a nice view.  I don't believe there are any current MF cameras other than the Rolleiflex that offers this beautiful view.
