This is a really nice 3.5E type 2 Rolleiflex that is working smoothly and looks fantastic! I found the meter to be working, the meter range switch to be working, the self-timer to be working, and the adjustment knobs for the aperture, shutter speed, and focus transport are all moving smoothly. The crank arm turns smoothly and without effort. The shutter speeds are working fine, perhaps a bit slow, but everything was good enough that I felt no need to send for a CLA. Even the depth of field indicators are working. I did not check the light meter calibration but it is working and you can adjust it to match your own light meter. This camera has an updated focus screen installed which is brighter than stock, but I'm not sure which brand.
Cosmetics: You can see from the pictures that this camera is very clean and well cared for a 60-year-old camera. The lenses are very clean and free from separation, fungus, and haze. The leather has very few spots where the paint is rubbed off. Same for the paint. The clear plastic housing around the light meter is cracked a little which is common. Overall this is a very nice specimen in Excellent condition and ready to shoot!
