The 90mm is a very versatile lens and one of my favorites in the amazing Rollei lens lineup. It's my most used lens. Why is it my favorite lens? I find it incredibly easy to focus with because it's so sharp. It's light weight and never needs a lens shade because of the recessed front element. It's also PQS so works at 1/1000th including strobe sync. It's very resistant to flare and can shoot into strong backlight. Because it's a macro lens it can focus quite close but is also as sharp at infinity as it is close. There's no distortion because there's not retro-focal element so it behaves like a LF lens. It has a huge image circle and supports large movements on technical cameras like the X-Act2. On top of all of that it's among the sharpest lenses in all of medium format.
