The Charger X and factory Charger-D (no longer available) work best for rebuilt batteries with NiMH cells since they use a pulse charging tech.

If you have an older battery that’s not holding charge, the best thing to do is to have it rebuilt. I offer a rebuild service where you send me your old battery and I can exchange it with one that’s been already rebuilt. Cost is $118 each. Here’s the link:

I do recommend people upgrade to the pulse chargers such as the Type D or Type X for use with NiMH packs since they don’t heat up the cells during charging.
On occasion I have a surplus of rebuilt batteries and can offer one outright without exchange. If you don’t have one to exchange or want a spare, feel free to e-mail me.
