This is a Schneider 3x corrected lupe for viewing 6x6 negatives, and a special latching base which mounts to the Hy6 viewfinder. The factory told me they made these based on my recommendation as the lupe finder is my favorite viewfinder of them all because of it's huge optic and great shielded view. The lupe can be adjusted for diopter correction so you can really dial in the focus perfectly. Less than 50 of these were made for the Hy6 and they are very hard to find on the 2nd hand market. Many more were made for the 6008 and XAct2 cameras and the lupe can be interchanged between those systems if you have the lupe base for those - they aren't the same.
