This frame base is required to mount the lupe onto the camera. It fits to the camera in the same manner as the prism or WLF would. To install the loupe, remove the bottom translucent or opaque shade and seat the loupe down onto the frame base.
Please note in the picture shown, the frame base is in the forefront, and the lupe and shades are not included.
