Here's a more compact sort of mini X-Act2…. 

Nathan Wright of Ohm-Image has posted an interesting review of the Novoflex Balpro T/S showing how you could use your Rollei lenses and X-Act2 lens boards and accessories with the Balpro.  You can also get camera mounts and accessories from Novoflex to mount different cameras such as the A7R to the Balpro which presumably will also fit on the X-Act2 - hmm….  Anyone tried this?

A customer of mine, Richard Gale, has come up with a fantastic solution to fit his A7R to his Rollei X-Act2 technical camera that I thought I'd share with all of you.    He's come up with a nicely fabricated package that allows the A7R sensor to be in the same position as the film plane would be if using the Rollei panshot adapter.  Here you can see some pics of his set-up:  Rollei X-ACT2 - a set on Flickr   btw - Mr. Gale has more than a little bit of design and fabrication experience WRT optics - he runs a company that makes unique lenses for cinema cameras http://www.dogschidtoptiks.co.uk
